How to become a member of LADC Company

Over three days, we offer some of the most exciting classes and choreography workshops.

Day 1

Dancers will enjoy a convention-style day of classes with LADC faculty to both prepare for the upcoming season and also allow teachers to better assess skill levels. This diverse array of classes will also allow the choreographers to push the dancers to grow and excel as they enter the choreography phase of the workshop.

Day 2

Choreographers will teach combinations in multiple styles and at a fast pace to challenge dancers in their physicality, style, and ability to pick up choreography quickly. Teachers will offer feedback on the technique and performance skills to encourage everyone to dance their absolute best in the big showcase on day three.

Day 3

Showcase time! This is a great opportunity for dancers to show off all of the awesome choreography, not only to their teachers/choreographers but also to their parents! Prior to the showcase, dancers will have a review session to ensure that they feel prepared.

The fee for all three days is $95, which includes 12 hours of masterclass style training. The fee is only $75 for dancers 6 and under.

Company training dates are July 26, 27, and 28. Dancers must attend the 3 day workshop to be considered for company. If you are unable to attend the July dates, a makeup workshop is available by calling.

Company placement and workshop takes place on August 9th, 10th and 11th

How much do dance classes cost?

Please see our fees page. Our group classes are charged by the total hours of dance a week. Private lessons start at $30 for 30 minutes or $50 for 60 minutes.

Yes. Lauren Ashley Dance Center Company is geared toward dancers who want to elevate their experience and training. We have 3 levels of Company to ensure everyone finds their “fit”. Lauren Ashley Dance Center Company specializes in cutting-edge choreography and innovative ideas and concepts. We make sure choreography stays age-appropriate and best tailored to each dancer. Becoming a company member means more performance and training opportunities including but not limited to, Walt Disney World, Chicago, National Dance Competitions in exciting locations like Virginia Beach, and more. Company is your chance to take dance to the next level!

How old do you have to be?

We offer classes in many styles for ages 18 months to 18 years. Explore our classes in styles such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, Acrobatics, Technique, and more!

How much dance experience is required to be a part of Lauren Ashley Dance Center Company?

We have multiple levels of company to cater to all skill levels and ages. Some of our companies don’t require any dance experience, just a passion for dance! Company is the perfect way to gain more knowledge, technique, and training.

What types of dance do you teach?

Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Pointe, Acrobatics and Acrobatic Arts, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique), Technique, Jazz Funk, and dance team/poms. We also offer private lessons in all of these styles.

How many dance classes can I participate in and how long do they last?

The total number of classes that a student is eligible for is determined by our staff. Our classes run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes depending on the age and skill level. Please contact us or call for class placement.
